I was thinking about what to do when I am in trouble and I thought of 911 and Psalm 91:1 (TPT)
When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai (footnote: God of the Mountain, God the Destroyer of Enemies, God the Self-Sufficient One, God the Nurturer of Babies, God the Almighty), you are hidden (footnote: or I endure through the night, Job 39:28, same Hebrew word – eagle passing the night on a high cliff) in the strength of the God Most High.
Then I went to Proverbs 9:10-11 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through me your days will be many and years will be added to your life.”
Proverbs 8:34 – 35 (TPT) If you wait at wisdom’s doorway, longing to hear a word for every day, joy will break forth within you as you listen for what I’ll say. For the fountain of life pours into you every time that you find me, and this is the secret of growing in the delight and the favor of the Lord.
Proverbs 9:1 (TPT)
Wisdom has built herself a palace upon seven pillars to keep it secure. (footnote: There is a fascinating word play in the Hebrew text. The verb meaning “to build” and the word translated “son” come from the same root. “Build” is banah and “son” is ben. The house Wisdom is building is a son. You and I are sons of God who are being built into a spiritual house.)
James 3:17-18 (loosely from TPT)
But the wisdom from above is always
. pure (footnote: or holy)
. filled with peace
. considerate
. teachable (footnote: easy to correct, ready to be convinced or willing to yield to others)
. filled with love (footnote: the Greek is mercy)
. never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form (footnote: or never wears a mask)
. and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness!
Good seeds of wisdom’s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace.
Proverbs 9:10-11 (TPT) The starting point for acquiring wisdom is to be consumed with awe as you worship Jehovah-God. To receive the revelation of the Holy One, you must come to the one who has living-understanding.
Beth (B) – Interesting, wisdom…saw on event ticket the word wisdom, and that is where you take me Lord.
James 3:17-18 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
B – Wisdom Lord. I long for your wisdom. Thank you for fixing my eyes on you today, Lord. Show me your way – your path – your steps – I want to see you – not blur of swirl – the truth Lord – your power and strength in me and commanding circumstances to Line Up – in the name of Jesus – with your way – And laugh and have fun and enjoy you in the midst – show me again what it looks like to be your girl in mess, Lord. I want your way, Lord. I go where you go.
And at the event as I listened to a speaker talk about love and uniqueness, I wrote from the Lord,
God (G) – Yes – Now. Give me your story, whatever place – whatever I get to be – doesn’t have to be a piece – all things want to do, do it now.
John 17:10 b (TPT) and my glory is revealed through their surrendered lives.
John 15:8 (TPT) When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!
John 15:26 (TPT) “And I will send you the Divine Encourager from the very presence of my Father. He will come to you, the Spirit of Truth, emanating from the Father, and he will speak to you about me. And you will tell everyone the truth about me, for you have walked with me from the start.”
Proverbs 8:14(TPT) “You will find true success when you find me, for I have insight into wise plans that are designed just for you. I hold in my hands living-understanding, courage, and strength. They’re all ready and waiting for you.”
Galatians 6:4 (TPT) Let everyone be devoted to fulfill the work God has given them to do with excellence, and their joy will be in doing what’s right and being themselves, and not in being affirmed by others.
And from the event,
Colossians 1:9 (TPT) Since we first heard about you, we’ve kept you always in our prayers that you would receive the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure over your lives, making you reservoirs of every kind of wisdom and spiritual understanding.
