We Wait On You

Beth SageMay 9, 2024May 3, 2024

Beth (B) – My heart’s desire is to be with you. I choose to have my eyes on you and I choose to linger with you. Wherever you are is the place I choose to be. And while the world judges the waiting as lazy, misdirected, irresponsible and even crazy, I know I would rather be waiting with you than be anywhere else or doing anything else.

What is it about life that makes us so confused? Simplicity. It is always back to the simplest truth. You are always good. You are always big enough. You always have a plan. And it is always good. We are never alone. We are never without you, our protector and lover. You are my one and only answer to every question and often I don’t even understand. I just know. My eyes on you settle my heart. My mind on you settles the swirl. I get to choose and I choose you. It is the greatest truth. You win every time. It is being settled in the place of knowing that waiting with you is better than being any place without you. Regardless of what it looks like to the world. All the ideas, opinions and judgments are just chatter and wonder. You are my only truth. Only you can make from this mess the beauty you alone will unveil. I want it your way, not mine. Your way Lord. I will not stop waiting on you. I will not turn left or right. I will not be enticed to short term glory without you. I want your fullness, your faithfulness, your fatherly love to abound in me. Yes Lord, I am all in. Show me your glory.

God (G) – Rise up in the truth. Stand tall. Be full of me and watch and see the glory of me on you, and for you and with you. It is a now word – it is a now time – it is a now thing. Watch and see my glory filling every area – the swirl becomes fudge frosting – it is not as it seems – it is all tasty and delicious and it is good and it is me and for my glory – watch and see my greatness for my glory – enjoy every minute – it is big and it is good.

B – Enough is enough. What if instead of a flabbergasted, “I am done,” exclamation, this is actually a declaration – quiet, peaceful? Enough is enough. That is it – the simplicity, the truth – always I AM – you are my enough in every area.
