This journal entry started with me not in peace and my first written words were, “Peace Lord”. This was my way of saying, I am not in peace and I need peace. He pointed me in the direction of where that feeling was coming from and it was not peace I needed but trust. This is often the way with our conversations. He surprises me in wonderful ways.
Beth (B) – Peace Lord.
God (G) – Trust me.
B – Yes Lord.
G – Trust me more.
B – Yes Lord, I trust you. Help me in my distrust and lack of trust.
G – Trust me more.
B – Yes Lord.
G – Stretching you to trust me more.
B – Yes Lord.
G – In all things, in all situations, breathe and KNOW that I AM GOD – that’s it – that’s enough. More than enough – really truly that’s it PERIOD – TRUST ME.
B – Lord, I am and I want to remove the bitter root of not believing. Lord, help me. I believe but help me believe more in every aspect, in every place, with every person Lord. To say Yes Lord – have your way – no human disruption, just let it be – yes Lord.
G – Be still and know that I am God, that is enough. Lean in. Believe without pain, without trying, without striving, without stress. Just sit in the middle of your wading pool and believe where you are and I will take you deeper but first we are getting true trust and belief before we journey deeper –
B – Seems like just a little girl’s – sitting in my blow-up pool –
G – Yes but it’s the first step and so important. I know where we are going and it is so good – just stand – you will not be moved – you won’t be shaken – it will be glorious to me for my glory. You are my girl and I am your God – TRUST. Just hold my hand, step out and let’s go.
B – Ok Lord. Whatever it is – Lord, I repent of my fear and say Yes Lord, whatever it looks like I know it is good and I trust you and I feel the fear but Lord fill me more with your faith.
G – Think about a strawberry patch – visual of hidden under leaves – ripe perfect strawberries but many there.
B – What is this Lord?
G – Treasures in heaven. Many surprises, discoveries – unseen, but there, just waiting to be found.
B – Lead me Lord. Please lead me.
G – Yes, I am.
B – Lord anything else?
G – Enough for now. Trust me – that is enough – more than enough – it is everything. Trust me.
B – Yes Lord
Romans 1:17
For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Romans 2:1
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
