God (G) – Yes, my girl, I have heard your prayers and in my time, my time is good, for your good and it will be enough and more than enough. Keep your eyes on me and all that swirls around is just mist and all that is eternal is steady. Stay strong in me,
Beth (B) – Not by power, not by might but by your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6)
G – Yes, my sweet, it is good and it will be worth everything. Steady and sure. I have created you both to be a beacon of light in a storm as the storm rages, you stand steady and offer my light to those caught in the treacherous waves. You lead them to Jesus, and it is good. Only from the ashes of weathering the storm can you stand steady and cry out, “Here, this is the way, the truth, and the life. Yes, come to Jesus, rescued, redeemed, filled overflowing. Yes, we know, we too were in the storm and God drew us. He was always there, steady and sure. We could keep our eyes on Him and all our hope was in Him and look; out of the ashes, the red flower on the pile, the steady beacon of hope in the dark and stormy night.”
B – Yes Lord. I want to do your will. I command today the tides turn in Jesus’ name, for your glory God. I know with all my heart, your way is my way, period, no matter what, the cross is it for me.
