It feels like it lifted, the gloom, doom. I am Radiant. You first said “beautiful” which is my familiar name, though I am still needing a revelation from you to fully receive that name and then you added last night, “radiant.” I need my big dictionary.
First, beautiful – full of beauty: having the qualities which constitute beauty. Synonyms are fine, handsome, pretty, elegant, fair, lovely. Beauty – the quality which makes an object seem pleasing or satisfying in a certain way; or by behavior, attitude etc. Synonyms include loveliness, grace, fairness, seemliness, picturesque, exquisiteness, adornment, embellishment.
Radiant (adjective) – sending out rays of light, shining brightly filled with light, showing pleasure, joy, well-being, beaming. Radiant (noun) – in optics, the point or object from which light proceeds.
So here’s a crazy idea I heard recently, we talk about “used” by God and ask God “use me”, but in our words we would not talk about using our kids. How were you used? Instead we are the bride of Christ and a good husband honors, loves, cares for, respects, protects, spoils, lavishes, admires, yearns and longs for.
God (G) – My beautiful, radiant girl. It is enough. I do want you to fully know my heart for you and then as you stand on the Rock, the barbs, temptations, lies are nothing because you hear my words over you, and you receive my truth and all else is sinister and dark and of no value. It is not the way it looks. He, the enemy, taunts and shifts and flashes and it is all lies, even when it looks good with your eyes, it is evil. I sit with you right now, yep, right where you are, and I see Radiant Beauty. I see your heart washed clean by my blood and my love. I know your longings and hear your heart’s cries and yes, it is my heart for you.
Beth (B) – Lord, Lord help me see and hear you more. I want the joy of the Lord today and each day. I want revelation of your way in all, in my interactions and my thoughts.
G – Decide. Remember, it is your choice. You always get to choose me, my way and my joy. Always.
B – Yes Lord. How Lord? Show me how to be your Radiant Beautiful girl today.
G – It is always enough to be still and know I am God. It is always enough to love and love and love more. It is always enough to ask for my eyes to see my kids. It’s always enough to love with my heart, my way. Always grace flows, always from me, without effort or manufactured. That is the lie way. The truth way is my yoke is easy, my burden is light.
B – I want that Lord, your way. I do not want my way. I need revelation truth in the hardest places. I want abounding, overwhelming love, respect and honor, Lord. I want to think on what is good and pure and truthful.
Philippians 4:4-9 (TPT) Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things.
