How Can I Love You Lord?

Beth SageMay 13, 2024May 9, 2024

God (G) –

The choosing me

Rest in the midst

Eyes on me

Resting in me

Peace in the storm

Seeing me in every place (circumstance, storm)

Choosing me over every thing

Setting aside this time

Having a place you invite me into

Being still and knowing I AM

Asking to see me

Wanting to know my fullness

Not being satisfied with crumbs

But wanting the richly baked bread of life

Yearning always toward me

Leaning in

Resting

Hunting through my word, raking for jewels

Questions

Conversations

Listening

Seeing what I see and listening well

Resting when the world calls to run

Running when the world calls to rest

Being available

Being simple, low maintenance, eager

Being reals

Being you

It honors the beauty of my creation

My pearl

The beauty of you

This is love

Love is relationship. It is resting in me. Believing me. Respecting I am Creator and being ok with not knowing all. Allowing me to be God and being ok with being my creation. Recognizing me and what that means for you and in you. You are my girl, my one and only. There is no other ever created like you. I need you. The body needs you. You are my bride, my girl, lingering is delightful. It shows me love (feeds me). I love time. I love brain space. I love being in your mind before you fall asleep and when you wake up. I love that you roam your heart and mind looking and listening. Expecting. Expectancy is love. Expectancy!

B – Yes Lord. I always expect you to be. I expect you. I know you are good. I know that you love me, and I know that you are beyond what I can think or imagine. Yes Lord. Fullness of time Lord

Fullness of you

Fullness

I want to see fullness

Fullness Lord

Fullness

Fullness

Full

Full – overflowing, overwhelming

Fullness in every area

Full

John 10:10b (TPT) But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect – life in its fullness until you overflow!

Life in its fullness until you overflow. That is what you pursue with me Jesus. Fullness of life and I say, yes Lord. All for you. All. I lay it all down to receive your fullness in every area. I release all. No block. Nothing taking up space. All for you. I desire your fullness and pursue fullness Lord. Overflow. Yes, Lord. My heart is to overflow from your fullness. All words, thoughts, actions, choices. All from overflow.

Proverbs 24:13-14 (TPT) Revelation-knowledge is a delicacy, sweet like flowing honey that melts in your mouth. Eat as much of it as you can, my friend! For then you will perceive what is true wisdom, your future will be bright, and this hope living within will never disappoint you.

Lord, Thank you for your revelation. Any places in my heart Lord, come and have your way Lord. It is all for you. Yes, Lord.

John 13:34-35 (TPT) “So I give you now a new commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”

The disciples knew Jesus’s love first hand to themselves and to others as receivers and witnesses. So I shake as I think, all the opportunities you give me to love well. Lord help me.

John 14:27 (TPT) “I leave the gift of peace with you – my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts – instead, be courageous!”
