Beth (B) – Good morning Lord. I know I need you today. Lord, I pray. Still roaming Lord.
God (G) – Lovely. Relax. Not trying. Just breathe. Let’s go back to Colossians.
In TPT intro to the chapter, Paul wrote while in prison. Hope of glory.
B – Lord I repent for groans (from the day before).
G – Listen without judgment, listen, and love. It is my way.
B – Yes Lord.
G – Practice field for you.
B – Yes Lord. I want to keep practicing and get strong in you, listening with love unconditional, no judgment. I repent Lord for judgment, bias, opinion, and outward expressions of this. Lord, thank you for your infilling of love, grace, and mercy. Always facing you, Lord. Help me remember I am always facing you.
This is a vision, being face to face with you. Help me remember that in all my reactions, interactions, choices, voices, thoughts, imaginations, you are, and I am face to face with you. I want to flow with love, mercy, grace, joy, encouragement, truth, boldness, stillness, quiet, unconditional, and exercising that muscle at every opportunity. So hard with anger, menacing bitterness. Yuck, really? I want to be tender hearted, forgiving and understanding but I feel like I watch and guard for wrong turn. I don’t like things and that is where my focus dwells. I am suffering with feelings and I focus there. I don’t want the negative, disrespect, anger, bitterness. Lord, I repent of all that is not your heart for others. Help me to relax, recline, help me to love unconditionally, encourage, listen and not react, sing, laugh, be steady in my emotions. Hard place and feeling it.
Colossians 1:10 (TPT) We pray that you would walk in the ways of true righteousness, pleasing God in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches, yielding to his life and maturing in the rich experience of knowing God in his fullness!
B – This is my heart’s desire – yielding and maturing, knowing you in your fullness Lord. I want to see more of you, more of your fullness, knowing your humor, your priority, your love, your creativity, your riches, your translation, your ideas, your plan, your mercy, your grace, your peace, your joy, your laughter, you Lord, fully. I want my capacity, the new wineskin, to be filled by the knowing. I want your fullness bubbling up and overflowing Lord. So me focused – hmm – what does that look like Lord?
G – Eyes on me, becoming us, you are – I am
B – Is that the point of be still and know I am – is enough, is all powerful, is in control, is trustworthy, is more than enough, is the all, my creator, my friend, my lover of my soul, my all and all – yesterday, today and tomorrow? All. Sufficient. All.
Colossians 1:11-12 (TPT) And we pray that you would be energized with all his explosive power from the realm of his magnificent glory, filling you with great hope. Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light.
B – That’s a place to camp my heart. Joyful gratitude. Think of how God made me worthy. Receiving glorious inheritance. Freely given. To me. By choosing to live in light.
