What does it look like to be – be still and know that I am God? (Psalm 46:10)
I am the daughter of the King, wife of a hero, mother of a warrior knight. All I am is because of the King. None of me is by my might or my power. None of me that is of Him. All of me that is righteous is because of His grace. None of me that is righteous is by anything valued by the world or those that reside in it. I am known and understood by my maker. There are hearts that I can touch of those that are of the King. Those who strive, perform, work for identity, do not understand or acknowledge the peace of the King. My loneliness is for beauty, peace, rest, love and joy, but it does not define me. I do not own the lack, I long for the abundance. Many observe and judge, whisper and weigh, perform for the eyes of the world. I long, not for them but for you. I long for what you give by grace – fully accepting, fully knowing, fully loving and no one can give that from their empty hearts. They long for the filling from empty things; things that are of the world. Eternal things are overlooked and misunderstood.
God (G) – Be still and know that I am God. Do not stoop to the dark empty places. Be still and know that I am God. Smile easily, laugh loudly, love unconditionally. Be easy to be around. Be unoffendable. Be wise in the wisdom of the Lord. Pray. In everything pray. Be thankful. In everything give thanks. Be selfless but not for others approval or admiration – fleeting, shallow – rather appeal to the Lord – (declaring) you (God) can have your way.
Beth (B) – Be in me and through me – not for others Lord but rather let my life glorify you.
G – Be still, you are safe, I am mighty.
B – Thank you Lord – I praise you for your might and power – greater than all – everything – you are mighty. Thank you, Lord.
